What subjects do you offer tutoring in?
We offer tutoring in core subjects including math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. We also support test prep and study skills depending on student needs.
What grade levels do you work with?
We specialize in working with students in grades 4–10.
How does group tutoring work?
Group sessions are capped at a 10:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure each student receives attention while still benefiting from a collaborative learning environment.
How many students are in each group?
We have 2 certified teachers and a max of 20 students per session. Each group has no more than 10 students per tutor.
Who are your tutors, and what are their qualifications?
Our tutors are Mr. Hyde and Mrs. Hyde. Two Missouri Certified teachers with a combined 12 years of experience and a passion for teaching. We are trained in effective, student-centered methods that truly work.
Can you help with homework?
Yes! We can help with homework, upcoming tests, long-term skill-building, or getting back to grade level.

Is there a trial or consultation before committing?
Yes! During your child’s first session, we focus on identifying their academic needs and creating a personalized action plan to help them reach their goals. How is tutoring tailored to my child’s needs?
Even in a group setting, we can assess each student’s strengths and areas of growth. The Hyde’s personalize support through answering questions, targeted practice, providing examples, paper and digital practice.
How often are sessions held?
We offer flexible scheduling options, including weekdays and afternoons. Frequency depends on your child’s needs and your family’s schedule.
How long is each group session?
Each group session lasts 2 hours, and students are welcome to arrive and leave at any time during that block. We designed tutoring blocks this way to provide flexibility for your family's schedule while still ensuring meaningful support when your child needs it.
Do you offer in-person or online tutoring?
We currently offer in-person group tutoring, in-person 1 on 1 and online 1 on 1 tutoring. Our flexible tutoring options make getting help as convenient and accessible as possible.
How long is each Individual session?
Each individual session lasts 1 hour, both in-person and online.
Can tutoring help improve grades or test scores?
Yes! While every child is different, consistent tutoring will lead to stronger understanding, more confidence, and improved academic performance.
What if my child needs help in more than one subject?
No problem - The Hyde’s teach students in multiple subjects everyday.
What’s your policy on missed Group Tutoring sessions?
We understand that every week might not require tutoring—and life happens! That’s why we offer a flexible approach: there’s no penalty for missed sessions, and you’re not required to notify us ahead of time. Your subscription secures your student’s spot and gives you access to a tutor whenever support is needed.
What’s your policy on missed 1 on 1 sessions?
We understand that life happens, We strive to be flexible and understanding. For our 1 on 1 tutoring we require a 2 hour notice for cancellations.
