We Are The Hyde’s
My name is Rachael Hyde and I have been a certified K-12 teacher for 7 years.
I earned my bachelor’s in education from Drury University in 2017 and am passionate about helping students succeed and develop a love of learning. I have hands-on experience teaching grades 3-8 in a variety of subjects, with a focus on reading and information literacy, in both public and private settings. Currently, I teach grades 6-8, working with students of varying academic levels, including those with IEPs/504s. In the 2025/2026 school year, I will be starting my 5th year at a Private STEM school, where we focus on personalized learning and curriculum development aligned with Missouri State standards for grades 3-8.
I’m Matthew Hyde and I have been teaching at a local private school for 5 years.
In 2019 I earned my bachelors from Missouri State University. I have been working in Non-profit education for 7 years and have been teaching in my classroom for the last 5 years. I have experience teaching all core subjects grades 5th-12th with an emphasis on History and Mathematics. I currently teach grades 8th-11th in a classroom of 10 students. I am a huge believer in individualized education. I specialize in helping gifted students advance further and students who have been left behind, catch up. I enjoy helping students understand why learning matters and teaching them to become a stakeholder in their own education.
Our Approach
Why we do this?
At Hyde Tutoring, we strive to be a trusted, high-quality educational resource by offering flexible, consistent tutoring tailored to the needs of both students and parents. With proven teaching methods and years of experience, we are committed to helping every student succeed.
We feel the current state of education doesn’t provide many options for students or parents. We aim to provide a more accessible and better option for additional student learning.
This is what we are great at. We are experts in creating curriculum and teaching what students are interested in. We are very familiar with the Missouri State education standards and are fantastic at building rapport with students.
